I'm in love

My life has been crazy lately I spend most of my time at work....being a worker bee according to Andrew. And good thing I've been working lots this whole "last time long distancing" is killing me I miss Andrew so much more this time around. I am very anxious to see him in two weeks yay for impromptu trips:) It is true that when you find your one true love things are different and you want nothing more than to spend every second with them. Andrew is the love of my life and I can't get over how much I love that boy:)

The proposal

who doesn't love a good proposal? I sure do and i am completely biased  about mine i feel but goodness i love how Andrew proposed to me. May 3, 2012 will always be near and dear to my heart I can't believe I get to marry such a great guy. He truly is the one person that can make me happy no matter my mood he is my best friend:) So back to the proposal..... I had just moved down to Utah and I wanted to visit my man that was now closer to me! We had planned for me to come visit Friday but I couldn't wait any longer so I headed up Thursday to surprise him. On my way there he was texting me and I was rarely texting which made him think I was mad at him or that something was wrong so I had to stop and a pull over to respond to his text informing him that everything was ok and that I wasn't mad at him I almost informed him I was driving BUT I wanted it to be a surprise. When I got there I headed over to my friends house to drop off all my things and then headed over to Andrews. When I got there his roommate answered the door and informed me that he wasn't there so I headed back to my car where I played fruit ninja until he returned my call. After 10 mins he called me back and informed me he was in a meeting and that he was heading home so while we were still on the phone I walked my way over to his place. I rang the doorbell and the same roommate answered and went and got Andrew and his reply to having someone for him at the door was "Ah really hang on Brianne someone lame is here to see me."  I give him crap about it now but it was really fun to surprise him and his reaction was just how I wanted it to be. He then started acting all weird and opening the door and running out to see how the weather was and then running back into his room so while this was happening I was just chit chatting with his roommates. Then he hurriedly rushed me out of his apartment with a blanket and a backpack in tow. He informed me he had a place he wanted to show me so we headed out to the country. And ended up at some grain silos which are my favorite! We parked and he ran over to a ladder and informed me that I had to climb to the top with him. I was hesitant since its so illegal but I did it anyways because he was already heading up. We made it to the top finally after I hit my knees millions of times (I had multiple bruises for days) And there he gave me a little flip book that told our whole story including the day he asked me out, got my ring, and asked my dad for permission  to marry me.The fourth card said to call his phone but I had left my phone in his car so he had to call his own and I don't know the exact words but it said something along the lines that he loved me and that he had a present for me that he wanted to give me and that he hoped that I liked it. Now this whole time I thought he was just being sweet I had no clue he was proposing to me since I had surprised him now after it happened I felt like an idiot for not catching on sooner. Now the present wasn't my ring it was brand new scriptures that have Brianne Berglund on them:) After I got them he handed me the flip book again and the second to last one said "you said YES!!!;)" And this is where he had me stand up and he got down on one knee and said the sweetest things ever that I don't remember exact words to and showed me the ring (he wouldn't let me have it until we got down.) It was a perfect proposal filled with lots of laughter and tears:)

A new chapter

I think its time for a new start in the blog business...it seems fitting seeing as I am opening a new chapter in my life. The one that is the most exciting (marriage) I am anxious to let you know what my soon to be husband and I are up to hopefully fun things and not lame work and school all the time stuff. I will be better with this one and im not get on me for slacking! be back soon for more:)
