5k Zombie Run

I have always loved 5k runs and hadnt done one for months so I decided to sign up for one. The only thing was I didn't want to do it by myself because that is never fun to train and everything by yourself. So I went on a mission to find someone that would do it with me. I had started becoming friends with this girl in my ward she was super sweet and had the most darling laugh....not why we are friends (might have helped though...kidding) she also was in the same institute class as I was so our friendship was bound to happen. I randomly asked her if she was a runner where she replied that she pretended to be which was perfect because that was exactly me. She agreed to doing her first 5k and we set out to start training just a week before (we slack a little on sign up.) It was so much fun! The race was set up where you could either be a survivor  or a zombie. We of course signed up as survivors mainly because we didn't want to dress up in zombie attire hahaha. The survivors had a minute head start from the zombies...and honestly I have no clue what happened if a zombie caught up to you I never saw one. We also had a plan to stick together but I ruined that and ended up ahead of her (oops) It was still a lot of fun and we are looking for another one..I'm not sure if I want to do one in the snow is the only thing;)

Changes in the Berglund household

As I am typing it just happens to be snowing outside. Which is in my opinion the worst thing ever especially in October of all months. We have been truly blessed this month! We got called to be Sunday School teachers as a couple which will be fun and we teach this Sunday. And *drumroll* I got a job! This was the biggest blessing of them all. I had given up on finding a job I was still semi looking but nothing was really coming up and I had been applying but hearing nothing back. I had interviewed with Kmart a couple of weeks ago and hadn't heard back so I wasn't expecting anything back. But yesterday I got a phone call asking if I was still interested in the job! It will be nice to have money coming in again and also a schedule. It will be a change now I will have to actually get ready possibly earlier than 9 in the moring;) Andrew was super excited when I told him the news he sang me a song and everything he's such a goof;) I will work on updating this more often its really pathetic since I have no excuse.

My Niece is so darling. She has the cutest little personality too! Andrew adores her and its the cutest thing to see how much he loves her. He is hoping that our little girl is half as cute as she is (poor unborn child already has a lot to live up to)
