How our Friday nights are spent...

some nights while my husbandman is being all studious and working hard i join him in the lounge where all the couples swarm the internet. its a glorious experience.....ok what really happens while my lover man does work is I catch up on the latest pinterest excitement followed by a pretend shopping spree on ASOS and then followed by a crafgawker glimpse........ or maybe 5. which is semi exhausting and i pretend like i worked my brain muscles to the max and smoothly hint to a well 'deserved' back scratch.....because being a wife to a very studious person is hard work folks (lets just pretend ok)
*side note i want one of these guys.....2 years need to hurry up;)

many have been asking me how is to be married.  and the first thing i want to say is it's awesome all the time...which is really a lie. Not saying that its not awesome isn't the lie part but all the time is. there are moments when my lover man drives me crazy with his millions of textbooks and papers about chemistry thrown all over our living room floor. and like wise im sure i drive him crazy with my "hey i know what would be fun...if you cleaned up your stuff in the living room" but really other than the fact that i am OCD about a clean apartment things are going so well. There is nothing better than the half asleep i love yous as we head to bed or the excited good morning sleepy head as he walks in from a morning jog. He's also the best person to cook for I love cooking for this man. It might be the satisfaction of being someone that can make something appetizing or that no one gets as happy and excited for dinner as my lover man. truly all the "bad" things get outweighed by the good by leaps and bounds. being married isn't easy its a huge transition especially when you are super independent like myself but i wouldn't trade being married to my lover man in a heart beat. so to the many that have been asking married life is so amazing just not all the time;)

Things I learned about husbands....

when i say husbands i guess what i really mean is my incredible andrew. i had started a job that i was unsure about but i just wanted to get money. this turned into such a terrible thing. i have never hated a job and hate was an understatement. it was a job that was just slightly and when i say slightly i mean the tiniest bit better than telemarketing. i felt terrible dialing the next persons number i started to hope for only answering machines. not only did i feel terrible i was exhausted. after i finally got off i wanted nothing more than to leave the place and never come back. i just couldn't do it though i wasn't a person to quit i never had been. when i walked in the door andrew gave me a giant hug that was much needed and looked at me and said you don't have to work there brianne. that was all i needed to hear which was weird but having him support me even if it was quitting was all i needed. i can't get over how truly lucky i am to have such a supportive wonderful husband who understands me. he is even a pro at reading me and knows when i'm not truly ok. i love that man so much and couldn't be more happier to spend my eternity with him.

Honeymoon Part 2

On Wednesday we hit the mountains in a razor. It was so pretty with all the trees changing. Andrew was in heaven and kept getting distracted with all the views. In the beginning we were hoping for an afternoon appointment but they were all full so we ended up with a morning which turned out to be the best since it was cool and there weren’t many people so it made it seem like it was just us up there. Andrew enjoyed going through the water in fact we had to go through a water part twice and he would have gone another time if I hadn’t been a party pooper and complained. It was a lot of fun and we ended up covered in dust from head to toe.

this photo still makes me laugh. we were covered in dirt and Andrew refused to clean his face so I went in public with this boy to Arby's hahah it was so funny to see people stare.

things I learned about husbands

Sometimes Andrew gets in these eating moods and he can’t stop it seems. We got a free package of smores fixings for filling out this survey thing at the resort...and he ate all of them in about 5 mins ok it was only 4 but my goodness it was crazy to see him pound it hahah. 

He also has been living with boys far to long.....You will always know if he's been a room because he leaves behind evidence;) I walked out of the bathroom to this.

He's a wonderful man even with all these little quirks that he has. Everyday is a learning day but I wouldn't do it with anyone else. 

Park City Honeymoon Part 1

Park City is so beautiful right now. Because of the drought the trees have been sent into early fall which is my favorite season We went on a hike it was gorgeous and so amazing to just be up in the hills with my lover man. 

Andrew can never seem to take a picture...we have many years to work on it;)

Reception

Our reception was exactly what I want it to be. It was such a perfect location it turned out gorgeous with all the lights and little details around. I loved everything about it and just to see everyone enjoying themselves was  perfect.  It was darling to see my niece dancing away. She loved her little skirt my mom made for her and thought she was a little ballerina when she was wearing it was darling.

the meeting and greeting it lasted till the very end. we were so blessed with how much of our friends and family came it was such a beautiful day.

Wedding!

The wedding week was such a blur! A very stressful blur that is. I saw Andrew a total of 2 times that week before our wedding it was crazy. We had a lot of projects and little things that we wanted to get done…a lot of things were never finished but it turned out so perfect none the less. here are a few of our Bridals that we got done. I love them and I can't wait to see the rest!!!!!

We are alive and survived the wedding and honeymoon! It has been a blur a glorious blur of learning new things about each other such as Andrew hates bananas like i do but will get them because he thinks i like bananas and he'll even eat them like a champ so they dont go to waste (he's truly the best.) We are currently hanging out in utahland while we wait for our apartment to be ready. And i would write blog posts like none other IF my grandparents weren't living in the stone ages of dial up yep im on dial up folks I never thought I would be in my lifetime again. So look forward to more posts of wedding, reception, and the honeymoon!
